SOMETIMES WE BLAME GOD INSTEAD OF BLAMING OURSELVES

he managed to get a generous employer who employed him as a shamba boy and promised to pay his sister's high school fees. fortunately this girl was bright. she used to pass her exams and this encouraged the employer. he even allowed her to stay at his home during holidays.
the employers son, Willy began to love this girl, he began to see Ben as a barrier to His plans to get her, so he started mistreating him and even blackmailing him just to tarnish his name before his father. Ben's sister fortunately managed to pass her KCSE and was taken to University still by this good employer.
willy began to win her, she loved her very much as he used to buy her expensive things and this, and also used to visit her at the university. By this time Ben had been chased away by His employer because of Willy. He went back to the largest Slum of Africa and continued hustling hard, though the employer had promised to continue paying her School fees.
the only hope Ben had in life was her sister, he advised her not to date Willy and concentrate with her studies but she was so washed away with earthly wealth. this guy never went to school anyway, so he was taken lightly by his sister. One day he went to visit her at the university, she was with Willy in her room flirting around. he was dirty, shaggy and so low compared to the campus standards. he knocked at the door, she opened, stepped outside and told him politely to go away as he would embarrass her before her boyfriend and her friends. she even told him not to visit her again as she will be the one to visit her at his place, she gave him three thousands shillings which was just much for a hustler like Ben. he thanked her, however he went away a heart broken man.
three months passed, he missed her, he called her just to know her beloved sister's whereabouts. she told him that she was busy studying for her exams but she will halla when she finishes.
when she was through with her exams, she went back to Willy's home. he took her to a vacation in Mombasa and forgot about visiting her brother. she however sent him some money with a message telling him that she was going for a school trip but she will be back soon. Willy really missed her, he started thinking of how they used to play together, how he was cut his index finger trying to protect her, how they promised to be there for each other, how they used to go to primary school together, how he managed to save her the risk of joining prostitution for survival. he found himself weeping.
time went by, still no word from her, he called her, but her boyfriend had changed her phone deliberately to prevent them from communicating. she didn't like it though, but just accepted this so as not to lose her. one day she became pregnant, Willy denied her, Willy's dad chased her away. she started looking for ways to reach to her brother, she had lost his contacts and didn't know where he lived.
