THE MEDIA CAN CHANGE THIS COUNTRY

nowadays, in everything we do. we depend on media. the medias daily reports inform us about the latest events and changes taking place in the world beyond our reach. as a result of this phenomenon, most of our perceptions about the world are a second hand reality created by the media. there is no assurance and no guarantee that this reality is an accurate picture of the world. we all know that journalists do not just passively broadcast information repeating the words of the official sources or conveying exactly the incidents of an event. they select news according to the public demand and according the laws. through these selection and display of the news stories, the reporters and the editors focus their attention and influence the public's perceptions of what are the most important issues of the day.our pictures of theworld are shaped by the way the journalists frame their news. now, as you can see, the media has influenced our moral behaviors. now about 30 percent of the population is supporting gay marriages, now instead of the media advertising, WACHENI MPANGO WA KANDO, it is advertising WEKA CONDOM MPANGONI. look at our dressing codes, people have been brain washed to think that dressing exposing 70 percent of your body is civilization. we all have abandoned our nutritious, and natural foods to eat foreign foods that don't allow us live longer. it is through media that we learn that AFRICANS are the most violent of all the races. Now to the journalists, you are the only ones that can change this, please try to be real, try to strengthen our people, try to restore our morals, try not to cook information for the people. try not to copy the international journalists who always air negative things against us. AM sure our local stations can do more than the international stations.
