FINALLY KALONZO LEAVS NASA FOR JUBILEE

- Wiper Party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka has officially left the NASA alliance for the Jubilee party
- The Wiper party had already given NASA a stern warning to name Kalonzo as the flag bearer failure to which they would exit the alliance
- Kalonzo reportedly received a KSh 7 billion bribe from Jubilee in order to ditch the NASA outfit ahead of the 2017 General Election
It is now official. Wiper Democratic Movement leader, Kalonzo Musyoka has successfully joined the Jubilee party ahead of the August 8 General Election.

His decision to part ways with Jubilee was orchestrated by the naming of Musalia Mudavadi as the NASA alliance's flag-bearer. 

Reports indicate that the NASA principals met at an undisclosed location for about 10-hours in a marathon meting also attended by very close associates of the four leaders. Sources revealed to US that the leaders settled on Mudavadi as the coalition feel he is the most neutral of all principals. Kalonzo had been chosen to be his running mate while Raila had taken the Prime Minister position and Wetangula the leader of majority in the senate. 
Hours after the meeting, a visibly infuriated Kalonzo accused Raila of betraying him despite signing an MOU in 2013 that Raila would back him in the 2017 election:"It is quite unfortunate that Wiper has left NASA. It was unforeseen. It is however imperative that leaders learn to stick to binding agreements . I will not be boxed to support anyone, Kalonzo Musyoka is a force on his own," Kalonzo told us over the phone. we had reported of Wiper's decision to leave NASA following the violation of a 2013 MOU signed between ODM's Raila Odinga and Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka.
The MOU had otherwise been rendered null and void with the entrance of ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and FORD Kenya's Moses Wetangula into the pact that formed the NASA outfit. 
Kalonzo's exit from NASA will most likely herald the begginning of the end of the political alliance that was ready to give Jubilee a run for the votes. In Jubilee, it is yet to be revealed what role Kalonzo will be taking but word on the street is that Kalonzo will take up a plush ambassadorial job since the top posts have been taken. 
Kalonzo will also be a special advisor to Uhuru Kenyatta on matters corruption and arable farming. In addition to this, Kalonzo has also been promised to be DP Ruto's running mate in 2022 when Uhuru leaves office.
